Nooksack Youth Council Participation and Purpose

Youth Council is made up of 8 members: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Nooksack District Rep., Mt. Baker District Rep., and 2 At-Large Reps.

Youth Council Advisors: Zachary Williams and Landon Tageant

The Nooksack Tribal Youth Council is composed of upstanding young citizens who demonstrate integrity, respect, and commitment to their community. Members are expected to actively participate in and help initiate projects that contribute to the honor, advancement, and well-being of Nooksack youth and the community as a whole. The Youth Council promotes leadership development, cultural pride, service, and positive representation, while encouraging greater youth involvement in leadership opportunities and decision-making that shape the future of the Nooksack people.
